What the lead
platforms really cost.
Every review of these platforms is written by someone who profits from your decision — the platforms themselves, or the agencies reselling their leads. We don't. Here's how each one charges, in plain words, and the contractor-reported ranges to sanity-check against your own invoices.
Per-lead fees, often with an optional monthly membership or ad spend on top. Leads are typically shared with several pros at once.
Pay-per-lead / pay-per-contact, no required subscription. Multiple pros can be contacted for the same job.
Lead resale, frequently bundled with home-services partnerships. Leads are commonly shared.
Third parties that resell aggregator leads or run ads on your behalf, usually for a monthly retainer plus the lead or ad costs passed through.
Cost ranges are contractor-reported and illustrative — none of these companies publish per-lead pricing. They're here to sanity-check your own invoices, not to quote as fact. Contractor-report aggregates publish only once at least three verified, licensed contractors have reported on a platform.
Don't guess — run your own numbers.
A platform's sticker price tells you almost nothing. What matters is your cost per booked job. The calculator does that math with your close rate and average ticket in about a minute.
